Head Chef

Starting Monthly Salary:
QRA 8,000 - QAR 10,000 (Full package / all in)

Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development and Innovation:

  • Create, develop, and continuously update menus that showcase creativity, innovation, and cater to varying dietary preferences.
  • Research food trends and incorporate them into the restaurant's offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Food Preparation and Presentation:

  • Ensure the consistent preparation, cooking, and presentation of all dishes according to established standards and recipes.
  • Monitor portion control and food waste to maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.

Kitchen Operations:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and ordering of supplies to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in adherence to health and safety regulations.

Staff Leadership and Development:

  • Final selection, train, and manage kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards for taste, presentation, and consistency of all dishes served.
  • Address and resolve any customer concerns related to food quality promptly and professionally.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor food costs, portion control, and inventory levels to maximize profitability while maintaining highquality ingredients.
  • Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve financial targets.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the restaurant's management team to align culinary offerings with the overall brand vision and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source the best quality ingredients while negotiating favorable terms.

Culinary Trends and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about emerging culinary trends, techniques, and industry developments to inspire innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a highvolume restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse kitchen team.
  • Excellent creativity and proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation.
  • Indepth knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and international cuisines.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.

Salary:
QAR8, QAR10,000.00 per month
