Job Description:

Parsons is searching for a skilled Senior Project / Cost Control Manager to join their team in Qatar. In this role, you will take charge of the internal cost control function and drive project and cost control services in the sector. Your role will involve implementing best practices and making a positive impact on service delivery.


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leads the Project / Cost Controls team in the central region, managing resource assignments and staffing requirements.
  • Manages a team of project controls managers/engineers to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs.
  • Supports the Sector Manager in improving margins, cashflow, and top-line growth.
  • Maintains contact with Program Directors to meet project controls requirements.
  • Identifies initiatives to enhance project controls services and implements improvements across the organization.
  • Manages project / cost controls resources, including staff assignments and training.
  • Provides training on project controls best practices.
  • Prepares reports, oversees project progress, and conducts site inspections.
  • Manages the analysis of design/construction changes and schedule impacts.
  • Prepares schedule data for proposals and contract negotiations.

Required Skills:
  • Degree in Engineering, QS, or related field with 15+ years of experience in cost controls.
  • Expertise in schedule and cost report development.
  • Project Management Certification is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork and management skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex construction environment and with senior-level management.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification in engineering or project management.
  • 15+ years of experience with 5+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to deliver executive-level presentations.
