In this role you will be leading the Airline Retailingtransformation from the current Airline Passenger Services Systemto the future Offer and Order Management System. Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver large scale Airline RetailingTransformation program in alignment with the organizationsstrategic plans and objectives.
  • Lead theselection and facilitate procurement of the suitable Airline Offerand Order Management System
  • Design themigration journey from the current Passenger Services System (PSS)to the new Offer and Order Management System (OOMS)
  • Working with Solution and Technical Architects createroadmap and deliver the relevant integrations with the Digital andEnterprise Applications
  • Guide Business Teamsin Change Management from PSS to OOMS
  • Workwith Qatar Airways Alliance partners in identifying integrationopportunities and implementing them as part of the Productroadmap
  • Setup post implementation ServiceDelivery Processes for the OOMS and its ecosystem
  • Work closely with business leaders (VPs and above) in amulticultural environment.
  • Drive innovation toensure that solutions drive value to the business.
  • Drive communication plan engage stakeholders acrossbusiness functions controlling and reporting progress to theSteering Group/Sponsor and escalating any issues as appropriate ina timely manner.
  • Identify interdependenciesbetween the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are alignedand risks are identified mitigated and communicated.
  • Ensuring appropriately skilled resources are deliveringthe project and managing the availability and performance of thoseconsultants.
  • Oversee and supervise employeesmentor coach and build technology competence in the deliveryresources manage their career aspirations
  • Liaise with external 3rd party suppliers and internaldepartments / IT teams to collaborate and design and implementrobust secure solutions

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 10 years ofexperience predominantly Finance applications.
  • Airline Commercial and Operations Domain knowledge.
  • Experience in implementing and supportingAirline PSS
  • Should possess large program /project delivery execution experience through onsite/offshore modelvendor management mobilizing large teams and worked across multipletechnology platforms and tools.
  • Provideleadership and direction to the delivery teams work closely withthe project managers to manage the Project Schedules /timelines
  • Expertise in Agile/Waterfallsoftware development methodologies
  • Experiencewith Design Thinking Lean Software Management DevSecOps andEngineering Platform concepts etc. are beneficial to be consideredfor this role.
  • Knowledge in Informationsecurity standards like ISO 27001 PCI DSS and GDPR.
  • Excellent communication (written verbal) and presentationskills at organization leadership levels
  • Excellent problem solving and solutioning mindset
  • Must be a GoGetter with positive attitudeSelfmotivating innovative openminded and inspiring
  • PMI or other industry leading certifications aroundProject Management Agile methodologies is preferred.
