Training Officer


The Talent Development Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing the employee induction program, annual performance management process, end to end training process from identification of training needs to delivery and the career and succession planning process.

Key Responsibilities:_

  • Support the Training and Development Manager in conducting Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to formulate training plans, cost estimates, and budgets for annual training programs.
  • Coordinate and schedule training initiatives across the organization in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address trainingrelated matters and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Assist in the design and expansion of training and development programs tailored to organizational and individual needs.
  • Monitor and maintain all communication with respect to training initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop training materials including manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational resources for effective training and induction sessions.
  • Support the Training and Development Manager with monitoring and followup with divisions and departments to ensure timely completion of goal setting, performance appraisal, and TNA processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports on conducted training sessions and provide timely dashboard data to the Training and Development Manager.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess and address frontline operational training requirements.
  • Support in crafting career development and succession plans with line managers to ensure job role continuity and enhance employees' career progression opportunities.
  • Contribute to enhancing Talent Development & Performance processes by facilitating communication of opportunities, feedback, and evaluations.
  • Undertake any' other duties assigned by the Training and Development Manager in line with business requirements.

Required Experience /Qualifications:_

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in training coordination preferably in a similar industry.
  • Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Power point etc.)
  • Online learning management systems like SAP LMS and Articulate 360
  • Digital content designing and use of online tools like Canva, TalentLMS, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral English language skills
  • Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
  • Articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences.
  • Certification in training delivery will be an added advantage.
