Wyndham is now seeking a Room Attendant to join ourteam at Wyndham Doha West Bay in Doha , N/A .Job SummaryThe RoomAttendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractiveguestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficientservice to all guests.

Education & Experience High Schooldiploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a relatedfield preferred. Physical Requirements Flexible and long hourssometimes required. Medium work
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of forceoccasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly tolift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to standduring entire shift.

General Requirements Must be able toeffectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levelof employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous andservice-oriented manner.

Must be effective at listening to,understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees andguests. Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmentalfunctions to meet deadlines. Approach all encounters with guestsand employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous andservice-oriented manner. Attend all hotel required meetings andtrainings.

Maintain regular attendance in compliance with WyndhamHotels & Resorts Standards, as required by scheduling,which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.

Maintain highstandards of personal appearance and grooming, which includeswearing the proper uniform and nametag. Comply with Wyndham Hotels& Resorts Standards and regulations to encourage safe andefficient hotel operations. Maximize efforts towards productivity,identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. Mustbe effective in handling problems, including anticipating,preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must beable to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. fromvarious sources to meet appropriate objectives. Must be able tocross-train in other hotel related areas. Must be able to maintainconfidentiality of information. Must be able to show initiative,including anticipating guest or operational needs. Perform otherduties as requested by management. Maintain a warm and friendlydemeanor at all times. Fundamental Requirements Employees must atall times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to allguests, managers and fellow employees. Thoroughly clean guestroomsaccording to standards. Complete all pre-cleaning duties, includingbut not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linenfor housekeeping cart set-up. Remove all trash and dirty linen fromguestrooms and hallways. Keep all hallways, public areas andclosets clean, neat and vacuumed (if applicable). Restockhousekeeping cleaning cart for next days use. Replenish chemicalbottles. Clean room with the door closed according to standards,unless requested to do otherwise by the guest. Report all missingitems from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) toHousekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Report any maintenance repairsimmediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager. Handle items forLost and Found according to the standards. Ensure overall guestsatisfaction.
