This position serves as a company technicaland administrative representative and deals with customer serviceassignment including onsite preventive maintenance and inspectionservice work callout services and commissioning activities on Solargar turbine packages.

Dimensions
Under general directionindependently determines and develops approaches to solutions tocustomer requirements and problems. Nature and Scope
The FSR II will report directly to the FSS. Advancedknowledge of methods and experience in the maintenance of all Solarproduct lines is a must. PrincipalAccountabilities
Understands and complies with Solar andcustomer HSSE policies and procedures. Ensure the work permitsystem is complied with. Ensure safe site and practices.
Participates by attending general safety and toolbox safetymeetings and completing all required safety training including CLMStraining. Also suggests safety improvements.
Ensurecustomer expectations are met or exceeded. Ensure all maintenanceactivities are carried out in accordance with Solar Engineeringspecifications recommendations and best practices.
Musthave basic knowledge of methods and experience in the maintenanceof various equipment associated with primary and utility equipment.

Must be able to proactively recognizeelectrical/mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problemsat and take appropriate action to prevent a serious safety hazardfrom developing and causing damage to equipment.

Provide dailyreports to the relevant manager on projects or daily work. Keepabreast of pending work and personnel required to complete theprojects. Ensure that necessary parts are available and submitmaterials requisitions when required.
Accurately reportand update all equipment histories to effectively forecastequipment utilization and efficiency. Coordinate any changesnecessary to ensure operations are efficient and minimal downtimeis required. Ensure effective communication and reporting toimmediate supervision and if applicable customer representatives.
Utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems. Solveproblems with little or no supervision in a timely and costeffective manner. Will be aware of procedures and options foridentifying sources of information and technical advice.

Will havesufficient product knowledge to repair and adjust minormechanical/electrical components/systems and will be capable ofreading applicable drawings and technical manuals.

Workindividually or with assigned FSRs on the preventive/correctivemaintenance.

Will be required to assist in a technical manner withthe operations and maintenance crew in any area if the workloadexceeds the number of personnel available.

Monitormaintenance services or installation support to ensure they arecarried out within Solar Engineering specifications recommendationsand in a safe manner in accordance with the HSSE policies andprocedures.

Utilize the Work Force Management Processand system to manage work orders. This includes performing preworkby reviewing and updating site safety information managing employeeinformation and availability.

The WFM application will also be usedto record and report time manage software and drawing changesgenerate daily reports review hardship data and manage the tasklibrary.

Qualifications
Theincumbent will have served a recognized apprenticeship orequivalent period of training. Will possess a technicalqualification e.g. Degree HNC/ HND ONC C&G AviationEngineers license Marine Engineers Certificate and will have 35years experience in a related industry. Higher experience/skilllevels may balance lower academic qualifications and vice versa.
Experience in an overseas/offshore environment is essential alsofamiliarity with rotating equipment and PLC systems.

Thisexperience may be either Mechanical or Instrument/ Electrical andthe FSR II will be capable of a crossdisciplined approach to thejob.

The FSR II will be familiar with Gas Turbine theory andoperational practice including control system logic drivenequipment and processes both upstream and downstream.

The FSR IIwill have the ability to program and basic troubleshooting on PLCsystems. Where regionally required the FSR II will hold andmaintain an offshore medical and survival certificate and/or othertraining/certifications as needed.
