Our work is only becoming more important as cryptocurrency entersthe mainstream. We are seeking a self-motivated Product Manager tohelp us scale our next generation blockchain data platform.

Thedata team is dedicated to all aspects of blockchain data includingnode ingestion, data parsing and transformations, pattern detectionand insights delivery in order to support all Chainalysis solutionsranging from Investigations, Compliance and Growth.

The teamapproaches blockchain data analysis with multiple magnifications,from a high-level 37,000-foot view down to the minutest details.

This comprehensive approach not only enables the team to deliverhigh value data to our customers but also enables a uniqueopportunity for you as a Product Manager to build a holistic viewof the dynamic cryptocurrency industry, blending detailed technicalinsights with broader market trends In this role, you'll:

  • You are an expert in accessing and analyzing all ofChainalysis' datasets including blockchain data, productusage data and financial metrics.
  • You will build toolsand mechanisms for consolidating and updating data regularly tomake it easily accessible to all stakeholders in the company.
  • You will translate product and business questions intoquantitative questions, uncover the inputs into our success metricsand start publishing weekly reports that product and data scienceteams use to identify critical areas of improvement.
  • Youwill successfully collaborate with internal engineering teams tocreate new datasets when we cannot answer the product questions.
  • You will create new KPIs to track the productperformance that guide the product team's initiatives.
  • You treat our internal data as a product and helped toscale the company's analytics platforms, trained folks toleverage BI tools, and provided your colleagues with easier accessto insights.
  • You will be a critical contributor to thecompany's pricing strategy for different products andaccess levels.

We're looking for candidates who have:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience, minimum 2 years ofproduct management experience with proven results.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Math,Statistics, Economics or a quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Professional work experience in a hands-on analyticsfunction with proven quantitative orientation.
  • Provenability to translate ambiguous business and product questions intoquantitative problem statements, structure complex analysis,implement large scale analytical solutions and drive business andproduct insights.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, ETL, DataWarehouse solutions and databases (e.g. Databricks, Snowflake, AWSAthena).
  • Knowledge and experience with data pipelinetechnologies (e.g. Kafka and DBT) and basic data architectures(e.g. Event-Driven, Lambda, Data Warehouse etc.) (
  • Experience in inventing new metrics, conducting root causeanalysis, testing hypotheses and developing reporting/visualizationsolutions (e.g. Tableau).
  • Ability to work with DataEngineers and Scientists to mine the right data sources efficientlyand accurately.
  • Fluency with statistical analytics and aprogramming language such as Python etc.
  • Excellentorganizational skills including prioritization of multipleconcurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurateresults.
  • Excellent oral, presentation and writtencommunication skills.
  • A Just Do It attitude and abilityto move with urgency and customer obsession

  • Understanding of blockchain data
  • Experience in building pricing models and conducting cohortanalysis
  • Experience with distributed computetechnologies such as Spark
