BASIC JOBPURPOSE


Toprovide personal assistance, organization and confidentialsecretarial support for the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher andSchool Business Manager to allow them maximum time to devote to themanagement of the school within the


  • Providea full personal assistance/confidential secretarial service to theHeadteacher, Deputy Headteacher and School Business Manager(including diary, word processing and confidential correspondence)to support them in managing the

  • Managea public relations role with teaching and support staff, parents,students, governors, the community and external agencies with andon behalf of the head to foster good relationships for the benefitof the

  • Providea word processing/desk top publishing/typing/excel/power pointfacility and maintain agreed quality standards for the productionof documentation for circulation in school and distribution toparents, pupils and the community to facilitate the effectivefunctioning of theSchool

  • ProvideReception services to meet the needs of the school and promote theschool s reputation in a positivemanner

  • Servicegovernors committees and other meetings including taking anddispatch of minutes and other documentation to achieve a timely andeffective dispatch of business and implementation of

  • Manage,plan and co-ordinate the work of the administration office(including the maintenance of all pupilinformation).

  • Developmentand implementation of office procedures in consultation with theoffice

  • Undertakeroutine duties ( cash handling) as necessary to ensure theprovision of a quality service for the
