About the Role:

Join our team as an IT Lead Business Analyst in Data Analytics, where you'll be essential in delivering impactful projects and products by connecting business needs with data analytics solutions through agile methodology. We need someone with solid experience in Agile project delivery and a proven track record of assisting businesses in extracting insights and making decisions based on data-driven products and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary communicator between the business and tech teams.
  • Collaborate, gather, analyze, and model business requirements.
  • Understand data insights requirements and assess available data sources to design solutions.
  • Develop user stories, process flows, and related documents for data analytics projects.
  • Assist the product owner in decision-making and shaping data products.
  • Aid in designing the technical framework aligned with business goals.
  • Support quality assurance by defining test cases and ensuring data integrity.
  • Engage in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and continuous process enhancements.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog efficiently.
  • Ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Enhance data collection, storage, and analysis processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead a team of business analysts, offering mentorship in the data domain.
  • Help establish data best practices across the organization.
Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years as a Business Analyst and 5 years in data analytics.
  • Background in the airline industry is beneficial.
  • Thorough knowledge of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile setting for at least 3 years.
  • Proficiency in Agile project management tools.
  • Strong grasp of Data Modelling concepts and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Data Lake/Warehouse technologies and industry practices.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and related user stories.
  • Knowledge of PLSQL, Python, RDBMS concepts, with the ability to communicate effectively with data engineers.
  • Quick learner with domain-switching capabilities.
  • Certifications in Agile methodologies and Business Analysis are a plus.
