Job Description

This is a truly exciting time to be part of GEMS Wellington School Qatar (WSQ). We are searching for a dynamic, hardworking and forward-thinking Head of Humanities who possesses the skills, passion and creativity to lead an inclusive, yet high-performing Humanities department across the secondary school.

Alongside a team of passionate Humanities specialists, the successful candidate will have a high level of autonomy to ensure Humanities has a significant presence within our school community. In our ambition to provide a world-class education, candidates should have relevant leadership experience and a proven record of outstanding practice. They must possess an unwavering commitment to helping our students achieve their maximum potential and it is essential to have experience of delivering KS3, GCSE and A Level History.

Skills

The successful candidate will:

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. They will also have an appropriate teaching degree and Qualified Teacher Status.
