Project Manager- Brokerage, Risk, Investments & Treasury (BRIT)

We are currently looking for a Project Manager- Brokerage, Risk, Investments & Treasury (BRIT) for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Min 6-8 years relevant Project management experience in managing end-to-end projects in either of these domains: Treasury, Brokerage, Investments, and Risk.

Knowledge & Other Skills:

  1. Knowledge of the banking sector in Qatar and the region will be an added advantage.
  2. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  3. Ability to drive and achieve desired results within the defined time duration.
  4. Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  1. Functional / technical skills must have functional and technical knowledge plus a high-level understanding of Treasury, Investments, Market & Credit Risk operations and technology.
  2. Dealing with ambiguity - Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; isn't upset when things are up in the air.
  3. Integrity and Trust - Direct, truthful individual; can present the unvarnished truth in an appropriate and helpful manner; keeps confidences; admits mistakes; doesn't misrepresent him/herself for personal gain.

  5.   7. Problem solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; probes all fruitful sources for answers; can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers.
