Job DescriptionIn this role, you will:
- Generate leads, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings for a variety of events, from weddings and corporate gatherings to social occasions and themed evenings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement captivating F&B promotions, ensuring maximum visibility and guest engagement. Be involved in managing our hotel's F&B social media channels, creating engaging content that showcases our culinary offerings, promotions, and events, and building a loyal online community.
- Oversee every aspect of catering events, including assisting during the event and leading the service team when required.
- Provide exceptional service to all event attendees, anticipating their needs and resolving any issues with a smile and a can-do attitude.
- Research and stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new F&B concepts to keep our hotel's offerings fresh and exciting.
- Assist the F&B department with administrative tasks as needed, ensuring seamless operations and contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Functions/Events coordination experience
- F&B background
- Excellent customer service and sales skills
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of project management concepts (scheduling, cost, and time management)
- Highly driven, creative, self-starter who is a natural problem solver
- Must be proficient in MS Office programs
