As Assistant Director of F&B, working with us entails the following:

  • To take overall responsibility for Food & Beverage (F&B) department in the absence of the Director of F&B.
  • To monitor guest feedback in relation to service, products and promotions and reviews in accordance with the Director of F&B.
  • To assist Director in managing daily operations of food and beverage department.
  • To assist in hiring, training and disciplining employees to achieve departmental objectives.
  • To assist in annual budget preparation and expense management activities.
  • To analyze expenditures and revenues and accordingly develop profit and loss statements for management.
  • To ensure that staffs follow standard operating procedures for operational efficiency.
  • To conduct team meetings to discuss ongoing issues and recommendations.
  • To train and educate on local health and sanitation guidelines of Qatar.
  • To establish and enforce standards for food and beverage quality.
  • To implement marketing strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • To analyze guest concerns and recommend corrective actions.
  • To provide outstanding customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To implement operational strategies to ensure quality and productivity.
  • To ensure that all outlets and F&B areas are maintained clean, safe and organized.
  • To assist in inventory management and cost control activities while maintaining high quality of food and service.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as Assistant Director of F&B in a luxury hotel
  • Energetic and dynamic leader who can influence at a senior level and engage a team with a guest centric service outlook
  • A team player that understands the importance of building close professional relationships and demonstrates a high degree of emotional intelligence
  • Well-developed, logical thinker with the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly
  • Ability to lead, multi-task and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • IT skills such as Outlook, other hotel systems, and touchscreen devices
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and organizational skills
