Your Tasks
  • Provide expert advice, counsel, and technical expertise to the project team to help assure that Informatica MDM solutions are designed and developed in the optimal manner and in accordance with industry and Informatica MDM best practices;
  • Reviews and provides input into team's work products and deliverables (both digital and non-digital use cases);
  • Design & drive implementation of application architecture, including application domains, integration layer, and scalability;
  • Simplify existing applications & integration architecture (inbound) & build for scalability utilizing Informatica MDM Integration Framework (SIF) as framework, JMS and Query and packages, Web Services/API(outbound);
  • Develops/Review the architectural design (HLD/LLD) for a highly scalable, large volume enterprise solution;
  • Defines and implements standards, shared components, and approaches;
  • Functions as part of the Design Authority in technical design reviews in ARB;
  • Approves code reviews and technical deliverables;
  • Responsible for overall Informatica MDM application architecture and changes;
  • Assists with development of requirements and design specifications;
  • Works with data steward(s) to design, develop, and configure business rules for standardize, match, and merge;
  • Analyses business process relative to MDM;
  • Designs and develops workflow processes in AVOS designer;
  • Deploy custom AVOS workflows and unit test;
  • Escalates Informatica MDM issues within Informatica MDM to get resolution;
  • Notifies team of Informatica MDM upgrades, patch releases, and upcoming functionality;
  • Profile source data and determine all source data and metadata characteristics;
  • Design and execute Data Quality Audit;
  • Present profiling/audit results, in summary and in detail, to the business analyst, the project manager, and the data steward;
  • Assist the business analyst/project manager/data steward in defining or modifying the project plan based on these results;
  • Assist the Data Integration Developer/ETL Specialist in designing source-to-target mappings;
  • Design/Review and development of ETL programs/modules;
  • Responsible for all batch interfaces;
  • Develops/review source to target design specifications;
  • Designs/Review, builds and tests ETL transformations;
  • Assists with testing defect resolution and initial data loads;
  • Supports and maintains all environments;
  • Manages the daily execution of workflows and sessions in the production environment;
  • Reviews and audits execution logs and statistics and escalates issues appropriately;
  • Monitors system logs and activity on servers and devices;
  • Monitors the execution of batch jobs and scheduled backup jobs;
  • Follows pre-defined processes and procedures for addressing and escalating issues.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field;
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience;
  • 5 Year experience of implementing MDM solutions multiple times, understands MDM implementation best practices, and provides architectural and design guidance throughout the project;
  • Has hands on experience of Informatica Multi Domain MDM, IDQ, EDC, Axon, Azure Data lake, Synapse & IICS tools sets and technologies;
  • Must be able to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, can translate strategies into deliverables;
  • Prioritizes and balances competing priorities;
  • Experienced in MDM Data Modelling, Stewardship, Survival ship roles and MDM Hub;
  • 3 + years of experience in configuration of MDM tools based on specifications. Expertise on Informatica MDM Multi Domain Edition;
  • Informatica Certifications (IDQ, BDQ, MDM Hub Administrator, Hub Developer, Informatica Developer);
  • Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) Edition;
  • Good understanding of integration with MDM (e.g. SOA/TIBCO, ETLs (Informatica PowerCenter(IDQ) and Informatica Cloud services), Event Driven Architecture, Data integration);
  • Exposure to Data Quality, Data Architecture and MDM best practices and processes. Working knowledge of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) is desirable;
  • Exposure to Hierarchy Management, Data Modelling, Workflow, Informatica Web UI, Informatica User Web UI, Match & Merge, Inbound/ Outbound Integration, Dashboards;
  • Experience working in more than one End to End Implementation project;
  • Experience working in Oil and Gas master data domains.
