Your Tasks

  1. Demonstrate personal SHES leadership and excellent SHES behaviours at all times and ensures that safety expectations are communicated and maintained.
  2. Perform as a safety leader through auditing, setting and exhibiting the highest standards. Actively participate in Toolbox Talks, Task Instructions and SHES related walkdowns.
  3. Ensure that Contractor / Subcontractor are conducting works safely and in accordance with all Permits to Work and safety practices.
  4. Assist Contractor with proper preparation of all permits to work and job safety analysis submissions. Including acting as PTW issuing / receiving / performing authority where required.
  5. Ensure System Completion activities, including all required testing, walkdowns, documentation, are performed and delivered as per contractual requirements.
  6. Review, develop and provide technical advice and guidance in the development of procedures, method statements, work packs, check sheets, check sheet allocation matrix, schedules, reports etc. to enable work execution and reporting.
  7. Review planning deliverables including execution plans and ensure activities are adequately, planned, resourced, managed and schedule is realistic and achievable.
  8. Provides clear guidance and facilitates resolution of conflict and problem-solving. In addition, actively seeks out work gaps and supports contractor to close out.
  9. Predominantly field based to assist and witness the execution of assigned area Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Completions activities.
  10. Indirectly supervise a multi-national of commissioning professionals providing pre-commissioning and commissioning direction, expertise & guidance, to lead safe execution of the Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning scope of work in accordance with project deliverables and execution schedule.
  11. Demonstrate leadership in planning and execution driving contractor to deliver as per project milestones.
  12. Report generation and validating / invalidating testing and commissioning results.
  13. Assist in other discipline activities where required.

Your Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent number of years' experience.
  2. 10 years' experience as a LEAD HVAC Commissioning Engineer, including a broad knowledge of commissioning planning and execution, for LNG or Oil & Gas facilities.
  3. Demonstrable experience with HVAC control systems, airflow, refrigeration and chilled water commissioning is required.
  4. Experience and understanding of interfacing systems and controls, including Fire and Gas Systems.
  5. Experience working on the client side as part of a project management team.
  6. Good understanding & experience in System Completion Process and associated phases such as technical & contractual certificate walkdowns & PSSR procedure.
  7. Experience in systemization including check sheet development, check sheet allocation, completions database and development of pre-comm/comm procedures and method statements.
  8. Both brownfield and greenfield experience is an advantage.
  9. Strong leadership skills, experience guiding and assisting contractor teams.
  10. Experience in developing Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning procedures, method statements and work packs etc.
  11. Must be able to climb stairs, climb ladders, generally access tight spaces and work at heights.
  12. Fluent in written and oral English.
  13. Strong analytical, organizational, coordination and planning skills.
  14. Good communication skills and ability to interact / interface at all levels.
  15. Good mediation skills including conflict resolution, problem-solving, creative thinking, influencing and empathy.
  16. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
  17. Familiarity with completions database software (e.g. SCDB, WinPCS, ICAPS etc.)
