A Company for Hajj, Umrah and Tourism services in Qatar

Seeking a full-time employee to join our budding e-commerce department, specializing in growing our clients' online branding, traffic, and sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a wide range of projects, including organic optimization, paid search marketing, social networks, blog implementation, link-building, etc.
  2. Develop a marketing website to promote touristic products & services.
  3. Create and implement online marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue for the company.
  4. Provide guidance and thought leadership to a growing team of passionate search engine marketers.
  5. Monitor social networks for activity, answer questions, create content, analyze trends, and resolve issues.
  6. Develop insightful, thorough recommendations to improve technical, design, content, on-page, and off-page optimization elements.
  7. Manage day-to-day client relationships through conference calls and presentations.
  8. Manage the procurement and submissions of high-quality copywriters, including locating authors, negotiating article rates, creating content outlines, content creation, keyword enhancement, submission, and other related tasks.
  9. Work closely with clients to conceive and spec out new and improved Internet Marketing strategies that meet stated goals.
  10. Research new technologies for continually improving our Internet marketing services offering.
  11. Monitor web traffic and source analytics, reporting against key performance indicators.
  12. Maintain the website and update search engine optimization, improving content, ensuring the site structure is search engine efficient, maintaining target keywords and phrases, and aligning all SEO activity with the organization's products/services.
  13. Maintain database marketing lists, segmentation, compliance with data law, goal setting, and tracking conversion.
  14. Administer affiliations contracts, control financial payments/receipts, and promote special deals.
  15. Control paid search budgets, track success, test different keywords/phrases, and report on return on investments.
  16. Data input as determined by the needs of the organization.
  17. Work with external PR and others to pursue high-quality and relevant inbound links and recommendations.
  18. Contribute a passion and ongoing knowledge of internet and digital marketing as a key member of the marketing team.
  19. Stay current with the latest SEO news and tactics discussed within online journals, forums, and whitepapers.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of internet marketing experience preferred.
  2. BA or BS, ideally with an emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, computer science, or a related field.
  3. Strong understanding of current web design best practices.
  4. Strong understanding of effective new media marketing/advertising strategies.
  5. Deep knowledge and interest in SEO, SEM, blogs, social networks, and business analytics.
  6. Strong understanding of search engine-friendly web design and ability to make critical design and technical recommendations.
  7. Experience working with small/medium businesses.
  8. Proven track record of delivering results through ethical search engine optimization techniques.
  9. Organized, analytical, energetic, highly creative, and capable of finding solutions to problems.
  10. Excellent presentation, verbal, and writing skills are required; understanding of the Arabic language is a plus.
  11. Strong ability to provide customer satisfaction.
  12. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to meet aggressive deadlines.
  13. Sense of humor.
  14. Clear understanding of Search Engine Optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Google AdWords certified.
  2. Experience with social media strategy development and execution.
