About the role

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our quickly growing Digital Marketing & Acquisition team as an SEM Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the paid search channel objectives of Qatar Airways by targeting relevant audiences across global and local search engines.

Additionally, you will be accountable to develop and drive the paid search strategy and manage the investment to effectively deliver quality traffic to the web and app platforms and achieve revenue KPI maintaining the cost of sale target.

This role stands as a key service provider to internal stakeholders and a trusted liaison to external vendors.

You'll be leading a team of paid search specialists to manage campaigns and ensure the right processes and frameworks are in place for efficient and high-quality operations.

As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:

  1. Set paid search strategy to ensure relevant visibility and drive incremental sales, in line with the overall digital marketing strategy of the airline.
  2. Be accountable to execute a multi-million dollar paid search engine portfolio with strict targeted return on investment.
  3. Provide paid search-related input and consultation to refine and improve search marketing strategies and align with industry and airline trends.
  4. Ensure alignment with other marketing channels such as organic search.
  5. Collaborate with MarTech and Analytics teams to ensure the best use of business and customer data.
  6. Manage and develop a team of paid search specialists.
  7. Execute strict audit controls ensuring adherence to budget, workflows, and reporting.
  8. Prepare and drive business cases to build and lead a world-class paid search strategy with a data-first and customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of job-related experience.
  2. Experience in B2C marketing environment with an online retailer, digital agency, technology company, or in the E-Commerce dept of a company, managing paid search programs.
  3. In-depth understanding of the E-Commerce B2C environment and the specific sales, marketing and distribution mechanisms to drive online sales and conversions.
  4. Advanced knowledge of paid search tools such as SA360 and Google Ads.
  5. Experience with paid search campaigns, search engine optimization, online media planning, account management of online marketing partnerships, bid management platforms, agency campaign management, campaign analysis and optimization, digital analytics, and research.
  6. Strong leadership skills.
