Job Description

Join our affiliate TotalEnergies E&P Qatar in Doha

As Reservoir Engineer, you will be involved in all assets of the North Field, with a particular focus on well performance monitoring and initiation to simulations.

Your Missions Will Be
  1. Contribute to the data management global policy with specific attention to improving the handling of sensitive geosciences & reservoir data;
  2. Ensure follow-up reservoir monitoring actions. If necessary, propose corrective or additional actions to OPCOs and TotalEnergies Qatar management;
  3. Participate in the definition of future infill wells and defend the Company position in meetings with QatarEnergy and other shareholders;
  4. Ensure the collection, analysis and synthesis of the monitoring data acquired by the OPCOs;
  5. Propose, create and maintain tools that ease the analysis and enhance the understanding of monitoring data;
  6. Ensure follow-up well performance actions;
  7. Propose actions in terms of synthesis/studies to TotalEnergies Qatar management and carry out studies that will enhance the team's understanding of the field under the supervision of a senior reservoir engineer;
  8. Ensure technical review of studies and operations proposed by OPCOs and, when adequate, participate in such studies;
  9. Provide technical assistance to OPCOs;
  10. Propose actions to optimize the production and drilling sequence to enhance production & profitability of the North Field assets;
  11. Help increase the technical competencies of the OPCOs.
Context and environment

The selected candidate will receive a VIE allowance according to the Business France rates and the affiliate will provide accommodation IN FLAT SHARE.

Expected Qualifications

Engineering Degree in Reservoir Engineering or equivalent / Masters of Science program

Technical Skills

Good knowledge of reservoir monitoring

Computing Skills

Knowledge of Pack Office (Excel)

Basics in reservoir simulation competence: INTERSECT. Autonomy in the use of reservoir engineering software – OFM, EMERAUDE, PIE, SAPHIR, PETEX suites is a plus.

Knowledge of PowerBI and coding

Languages

English: level C1

French: level C1
