Guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the operability, maintainability, reliability, and safety of the new production facilities.

Ensure the successful integration of new equipment or facilities in the Al Shaheen Field.

Address all operations-related topics within projects, ensuring that operability, reliability, and maintainability are adequately considered within the design and construction of the facilities.

Job Dimensions :

The Al Shaheen Field development involves several new projects executed in parallel over a period of 10 years with a significant CAPEX investment. The Major Projects include :

Phase 3.1 : 9 new Wellhead Platforms (WHPs) and a Central Processing Complex, which consists of a Central Production Platform, a Riser Platform, and a Flare Tower, all bridge-linked to the existing B location.

Pipelines Global Network : Replacement of existing pipelines for integrity and debottlenecking.

The candidate will work cross-functionally with the Project Team, EPCIC Contractor, and Field Operations Team. They should have extensive experience and operational knowledge to provide recommendations to Projects.

Activities :

HSEQ Responsibilities :

  1. Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) is given the highest priority.
  2. Support and enforce the Project HSEQ management system (charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures, specifications, etc.).
  3. Actively embed and enforce HSEQ philosophies at all levels of project execution (Project team and Contractors) through proactive actions, such as site tours, HSEQ meetings, and incentive programs.
  4. Monitor work activities, especially in areas where unsafe acts could occur, ensuring that risks are properly identified and assessed before work execution (Job Safety Analysis).
  5. Participate in HAZOPs, Risk Assessments, and 3D Model reviews for installation and construction activities associated with the project.
  6. Interface with the Commissioning Manager and Site Commissioning Teams (especially during the preparation phase) to facilitate offshore execution.
  7. Contribute to Operability / Maintainability studies and support key MIEC processes.
  8. Assist in the development of Operating Procedures for Field Operations to ensure they are fit for purpose, aligned with current Field Operations practices, and delivered in a timely manner.
  9. Identify and develop necessary training for Field Operations stakeholders for new facilities.
  10. Represent Project Field Operations at Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for critical equipment.
  11. Ensure the adequacy of the project's design basis with existing field bottlenecks and coherence with identified debottlenecking actions.

Ruya CPP Operations Supervisor :

Supervise Site Operations Teams during installation, commissioning activities, and start-up.

Deputize for the Field Operations Lead as required.

Provide feedback (Return of Experience - REX) at the end of each project to capture lessons learned.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience Required :

BSc in Engineering or related discipline.

Experience :

2 to 5 years of experience in Production Operations and Projects roles, with a field operations profile. Previous experience in Al Shaheen Field is preferred.

Technical Knowledge :

Familiarity with Production, Process, and Flow Assurance Engineering.

Familiarity with industry standards, MANASA, and relevant codes and standards is preferred.

Technical Skills :

Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software and systems.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills :

Strong communication and transverse skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.

Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.

Analytical Skills :

Strong analytical abilities to address technical challenges and provide effective solutions.

Availability :

Willingness to travel for frequent missions to EPCIC Contractor and Vendor sites.

Certifications & Training :

H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training certifications.
