Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned's Club, a private members' club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Porter.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist housekeeping staff with delivering and collecting linen, towels, and supplies to and from rooms.
  2. Transport and deliver guest requests, amenities, and luggage in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Ensure that housekeeping carts are stocked and organized.
  4. Maintain the cleanliness of corridors, stairways, and public areas.
  5. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the relevant department.
  6. Assist with general housekeeping duties as required, including removing trash, cleaning storage areas, and assisting with room turnovers.
  7. Work closely with housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  8. Follow hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
  2. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  4. Good physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and moving supplies.
  5. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
  6. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  7. A commitment to providing exceptional service to our guests.
