Senior Account Manager HPS

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Senior Account Manager to be based in Qatar. In this role, you will act as the primary customer interface responsible for the development of business and management of relationships with a specific customer or customers. You will understand the customer's business, drivers, and organization, and the value that Honeywell brings to the customer to drive real business outcomes. Dissemination of key messages, initiatives, and information pertaining to the value Honeywell brings to that specific customer at all levels of the customer's organization.

Key Requirements

  1. Develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
  2. Establish these relationships while engaging customers at all levels, including senior levels of the customer organization.
  3. Early engagement in the customer buying process, diagnosing customers' needs and tailoring solutions to match.
  4. Manage the day-to-day and strategic: maintaining a balanced approach to superior customer service and strategic account planning.
  5. Quarterly results and long-term account goals.
  6. Identify new sales opportunities and focus on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account.
  7. Manage and build customer contacts, serving as the customer's ambassador, trusted advisor, and advocate; focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, contract negotiations, etc.
  8. Drive sales campaigns and LOB strategic initiatives.
  9. Plan for account growth in the long term.
  10. Engage with industrial customers in the process industries including technical buyers, economic buyers, and executives.
  11. Pursue growth through regular face-to-face meetings and winning new customers to enlarge the assigned customer base.
  12. Frequent travel across the country is required (35% of the time).

Key Skills And Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  2. Experience in solution sales (automation industry).
  3. Proven track record of success in the industry/business environment.
  4. Experience in building and maintaining relations at various customer levels.
  5. Experienced in complex sales, including early engagement in the customer buying cycle at senior levels, building long-term strategic and executive relationships, team selling, and opportunity planning.
  6. Marketing and project management experience desirable.
  7. Demonstrate strategic leadership and authority.
  8. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  9. Works well in a matrix and with the functional organization (country and business organizations).
  10. Establish credibility and respect for self and Honeywell internally and externally.
  11. Disciplined, responsive, and reliable when committing to actions.
  12. Hungry to win/get results (hunter with outstanding consulting approach).
  13. Leadership: leads others toward a goal (internal influence, organization knowledge, networking).
  14. Knowledge of customer business, understanding customer needs and strategic thinking with solid Account Management Planning.
  15. Win new customers, extend footprint in existing base.
  16. Approaches all levels in customer organizations.
