  • Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of all the software components with the digital transformation program.
  • Review and share feedback on Design documents prepared by Enablement team.
  • Coordinate the handover of HLD from Enablement team to Development team. Scrum masters will manage their individual teams; however, the ITDM who has the overall picture will manage the entire task.
  • Manage implementation of the software components (user stories, DRFs) at the scrum of scrums level.
  • Attend team meetings (Scrum of Scrums, status meetings, others as planned).
  • Prioritize code development and Bug fixing tasks.
  • Provide the consolidated estimation and EDD, based on the agreed priority by coordinating between Scrum masters.
  • Raise risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate the status of each task at the Scrum of Scrums level.
  • Raise any support required from management or any members of the project team outside the delivery team in a timely manner.
  • Resolve any production issues assigned to the project team by coordinating between Scrum masters. This is applicable only for the hyper care period of up to 72 hours after a release.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of work experience, with at least 5 years in the telecommunications industry.
  • Minimum 5 years of qualified experience in the requested or similar role of digital applications delivery lead, demonstrating delivery leadership and the ability to define and deliver complex information technology and/or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of Digital & Ecommerce domain, DevOps, Telecom Business Models, Operating Environments, and Applications across Technology, Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, Regulatory and Legal, and Telecom BSS/OSS Information Technology and Software Systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate subject matter expert level expertise in one or more of the following areas:

➢ Program/Project Management

➢ Agile Delivery and IT Delivery Management

➢ Business Analysis and Solution Architecture

➢ Digital Transformation Leadership

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, managerial, teamwork, negotiation, logical analysis, stakeholder, and risk management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications in English is a must; Arabic is considered a plus.
  • Good understanding of Information Technology, IT Systems, and IT Solution Design Practices to fluently liaise between Business and Technology and effectively carry out Solution Design related work.
  • Good working knowledge and past experience in Program/Project Management practices, Team Leading, Digital transformation projects, Legacy to Digital Channel & Engagement Migration, Microservices led Transformation.
  • Vendor Management, Contract Management, and Software Development Lifecycle including Design Thinking and Agile Practices and Methodologies.
  • Good working knowledge and preferably certifications of one or more relevant Frameworks, Standards, Models, and Practices related to Telecom Industry and Role, including but not limited to TOGAF, ITIL, PMP/PMI/PRINCE2, SIGMA, COBIT, SCRUM, SDLC, TM Forum. IT Industrial Certifications or Post Graduation with specific focus on Practical deployments is considered a plus.
  • Ability to build capability in information systems design and lead teams to deliver results.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, both independently and with others.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and support managing multiple parallel complex initiatives.
  • Ability to be structured, organized, and possess strong time-management skills with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to think outside the box, be innovative, and be a creative thinker.
  • Cultural awareness and past experience working in the Middle-East and/or in Qatar, with an understanding of Middle East/Qatar market dynamics, is considered a plus.
