Joinour Global Logistics Team The focus of this role will be to managethe transportation strategies that support both inbound andoutbound to the region. This role will manage a team of people thatwill be developed as part of the role requirements. As theLogistics Lead - Northern Gulf Cluster, you will be responsiblefor: Actively develops relationships with the different Businesssegments, understands their needs, and designs appropriatesolutions in coordination with Suppliers & other Logisticsclusters/Region/Global Leads. Managing transportation and logisticsof goods and services to and from internal and/or externalcustomers/suppliers. Gathering and analyzes market information oncompetitor activities and service providers (airlines, shippinglines, etc.) to maintain the company's competitive edge inproducts, pricing services, and systems. Managing, guiding,training, setting targets and objectives for staff, appraise andsupport employees reporting to the position and ensure highperformance levels towards achieving overall objectives. Developingnotions on midterm developments for own function and elaboratessuggestions for the strategic plan of the larger unit (be itfunction or business unit). Developing and lead end-to-endlogistics solutions to achieve the required on-time pickup anddelivery of goods. Managing excellent relationships with allgovernment departments. Managing Logistics Costs to meet budgetsand Operations Plans. Understanding broader concepts, developmentof approaches and methods, and knowledge management. Solutionsintegrate multi-functional impact and perspective. Havinginfluencing skills to achieve objectives, strong influencing ofothers. Ability to develop team members. Handling professional workin the department. Employees are expected to choose approaches andmethods to solve cases. Fuel your passion To be successful in thisrole you will: Have a Bachelor’s degree in businessmanagement, Supply Chain or equivalent. Have 10+ years ofexperience in logistics, transportation, or related fields. Have atleast 5 years of project management skills with the ability to plantasks, assign resources, manage progress, remove barriers, managechange, resolve conflict, build consensus, and motivate teammembers. Have significant leadership experience Be Six SigmaCertified (Preferred) Have the ability and willingness to traveldomestically and internationally.
