Access Coordinator

Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination andadministration of all items related to the access team across allofficial venues, including shift management, training and otheradministrative duties.
- Implementation and setup of the client access management system including ensuringcorrect rule set up, access control equipment roll out to securitypersonnel, training of all users, testing and onsite operations andtroubleshooting.
- Development and production ofaccess control boards.
- Planning, mapping andchecking of key client flows, vertical transportation and ingresspoints onto venue maps and communication of flows and ingresspoints to all client groups via the provision of access manuals andaccess tours. This includes all flows and planned routes fordisabled people and people with limitedmobility.
- Provision of key wayfindinginformation as required to the client Signage and Dressing toensure wayfinding on site is correct and as per all client flows.Ensure that all wayfinding meets the Accessibility standards andrequirements.
- Act as key liaison with allfunctional areas with regard to any access related issues orquestions. Facilitate additional and exceptional accessrequirements during thetournament.
Qualifications andexperience:
- University degree in an appropriatesubject or demonstrable training/vocationaltraining
- Minimum 2 years experience in thesport event industry, preferably within access management,accreditation, safety and security or venue management. Experiencewithin a stadium environment is anasset.
- Operation and/or set up of complexaccess control systems within ticketing and/oraccreditation
- Wayfinding and route planning ina stadium environment
- Demonstrative ability ofworking across multiple venuesconcurrently
- Writing and production of manualsand training materials
- Ability to deliver highlevels of customer service in pressurizedsituations
- A methodical and analytical approachto completing work, with excellent attention todetail
- Ability to communicate and collaborateeffectively with colleagues
- Excellentpresentation skills
- Creative and positiveproblem solving skills
- English fluency– spoken and written(required)
- Arabic fluency – anadvantage
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel,Word, PowerPoint, Visio &Project)
- Planning software and onlinecollaboration tools (an asset)
