Preparar las presentaciones de los platos y bandejas de manera adecuada para los banquetes. Organizar y operar los puestos para los banquetes o bufés. Cortar las carnes del bufé según lo solicitan los huéspedes. Brindar apoyo al banquete y al bufé asegurándose la existencia adecuada de todos los productos. Operar hornos, cocinas, parrillas, microondas y freidoras para preparar los platos. Preparar los ingredientes para cocinar, por ejemplo, dividir los alimentos en porciones, picarlos y almacenarlos. Lavar y pelar las frutas y las verduras frescas. Pesar, medir y mezclar los ingredientes. Preparar y cocinar la comida de acuerdo con las recetas, los estándares de calidad, los estándares de presentación y la lista de control para la preparación de los alimentos. Preparar platos fríos. Probar los platos para determinar si han sido cocidos lo suficiente. Controlar la calidad de los alimentos mientras se prepara la comida. Establecer y dividir los puestos de trabajo. Servir la comida en porciones y recipientes adecuados. Lavar y desinfectar el área de la cocina, las mesas, los utensilios, los cuchillos y el equipo. Cumplir con todas las políticas y los procedimientos de seguridad y de la compañía; informar al gerente los accidentes, las lesiones y las condiciones laborales inseguras; y realizar capacitaciones y obtener certificaciones de seguridad. Estar de pie, tomar asiento o caminar durante un período prolongado de tiempo. Estirarse por encima de la cabeza y debajo de la rodillas, incluso agacharse, retorcerse, torcerse y encorvarse. Mover, levantar, transportar, empujar, arrastrar y ubicar sin ayuda objetos que pesen 50 libras o menos.Ejecutar otros deberes de trabajo razonables solicitados por supervisors.
