Our client in Doha has an exciting role for a Art Director this role plays a critical role in materializing the company's Idea, Mission, and Vision into reality across various mediums. Reporting to the Creative Director (or acting Creative Director), the Art Director will be responsible for supervising and leading the visual narrative of the organisation, encompassing both the Foundation and its Ventures. This role requires a creative and strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate creative visions into tangible and impactful designs. The Art Director will work closely with the creative team, responsible for curatorial, conceptualizing, design, visual, and narrative aspects of the organization. Ideally you will come from a Cinematic, theatre background

**Responsibilities and Scope of Work**:
**1. Visual Brand Identity and Guidelines**:

- Define and elaborate the comprehensive visual brand identity and guidelines for the organisation as a whole.
- Ensure consistency of the brand identity throughout various mediums, including digital, physical, web, print, merchandise, etc.

**2. Concept Development**:

- Collaborate with other Business Unit heads of the organisation and its affiliates to develop clear and innovative ideas and concepts.
- Align concepts with strategic positions, target audience, and market initiatives for both digital and physical platforms.

**3. Digital Design and Production Management**:

- Ensure that digital designs are optimized for user experience and responsive across devices

**4. Physical Design and Production Management**:

- Oversee the design and production of physical materials, such as brochures, posters, packaging, event materials, and promotional items.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality physical production.

**5. End-to-End Design Oversight**:

- Provide meticulous oversight of all digital and physical design elements from conception to final delivery.
- Ensure that creative visions and ideas of the organisations are accurately translated into tangible digital and physical outputs.

**6. Direction for Designers**:

- Provide clear and concise briefs and directions to other designers involved in both digital and physical projects.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes effective execution for both mediums.

**7. Design Review and Approval**:

- Review and approve digital designs, artwork, photography, social media content, and graphics for online channels.
- Review and approve physical designs, artwork, print materials, and merchandise visuals.

**8. Collaboration with Teams**:

- Work closely with the communications, marketing, events, and sales teams to produce marketing and public content for both digital and physical campaigns.
- Ensure all content reflects the visual brand identity of the organisation across both online and offline channels.

**9. Design Briefs for Internal and Third-Party Requests**:

- Provide detailed design briefs for internal teams and third-party vendors or collaborators for both digital and physical projects.
- Maintain consistency in design representation across all mediums.

**10. External Project Support**:

- Support the coordination, arrangement, and execution of design for external projects involving both digital and physical elements.

**Other Responsbilities**
- Develop and enhance the visual identity of the organisations continuously for both digital and physical mediums.
- Establish and maintain visual standards and templates to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
- Create comprehensive cross-divisional production plans for both digital and physical projects, considering technical requirements, to ensure timely project delivery.
- Manage the Creative Unit and its employees effectively.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Creative Unit.

**Education**
- Degree in any of the following creative field such as graphic design, web design, art, animation, film making

**Competencies**
- A strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation, and illustration
- Strong working knowledge of design programmes such as Adobe Creative Suite®
- Confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally
- A keen eye for visual details and accuracy
- Desilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.

**Salary**: From QAR25,000.00 per month
