**About this role**
- Design, develop and support server-based geoprocessing scripts, tools, and processes for automated data updates with Python and SQL statements.
- Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to self-organize, track progress, and update the status of projects.
- Troubleshoot various GIS issues for users to correct bugs with tools, server management issues, issues with processes and questions about new workflows.
- Develop and document GIS processes and procedures.
- Assist other teams with various ad-hoc GIS requests.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Familiarity with React, Angular, TypeScript, Dojo, HTML/CSS
- Experience with SQL Databases including MS SQL Server, Postgres & Oracle
- Minimum five years of experience developing solutions with Esri products, including ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Enterprise
- Proficiency in ArcGIS JavaScript 3.x and 4.x & Python 2.x & 3.x
- Experience with ArcGIS GeoEvent Server, GeoAnalytics Server & Image Server.

**What you need to bring**
- Masters/ Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineer, Computer Engineer, Geomatic Engineer, or any related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of post-graduate experience
- Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS products
- Strong IT skills
- Experience with ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Esri Web App Builder, JavaScript API
- Understanding of Esri Server and Portal, management of licenses, management of user accounts
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Knowledge of development, test, and production database environments
- Troubleshooting GIS issues
- Development of server-side components, including but not limited to SOAP &REST web service endpoints implemented via IIS & NET technologies is highly desirable.
- ASP, NET, ASP.NET Web, API, Windows Communication Foundation, SOAP & RESTful Web services (both developing & consuming), Microsoft IIS Configuration.
- Conceptual understanding and ideally experience with multi-tiered system architectures including server roles, network communications, and network security measures (firewalls, proxy, VPN, etc.)
- Server-side development and management of ArcGIS Enterprise and FME Server.
- DevOps experience to design and implement modern development and platform environments to include Git, CI/CD, Containerization, Kubernetes, Ansible, and others.
