**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Barista to lead our coffee shop's barista team. The Head Barista will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the delivery of top-quality coffee beverages. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, and a passion for creating an outstanding coffee experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise Barista Team**: Lead and manage a team of baristas, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure excellent performance and adherence to company standards.
- **Beverage Preparation**: Demonstrate expertise in crafting a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-over, and alternative brewing methods, while maintaining consistency and quality.
- **Customer Service**: Deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with customers to provide product recommendations, answer inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and ensuring freshness.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all beverages meet quality standards, conducting regular taste tests, monitoring brewing equipment performance, and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Optimize workflow and productivity by developing efficient processes, organizing work schedules, and coordinating tasks to meet customer demands and maintain a smooth operation.
- **Training and Development**: Conduct training sessions to enhance baristas' knowledge and skills in coffee preparation techniques, customer service, and equipment operation, ensuring consistent quality across the team.
- **Health and Safety**: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following health and safety guidelines, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with other departments, such as the kitchen or management team, to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and contribute to the overall success of the coffee shop.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably as a head barista or supervisor in a coffee shop or specialty café.
- Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, including espresso, latte art, and manual brewing methods.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Proven organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations effectively.
- Understanding of inventory management and the ability to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage operations.
- Passion for coffee, with a continuous drive to stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
