We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Qatar LLC for a:
ICAPS ENGINEER

**Job Purpose**:
Ensuring the continuous performance and operability of the ICAPS SCDB.
Maintaining the integrity and security of the ICAPS SCDB.

**Your main duties will be to**:
Establishing the needs of users and monitoring user access and security.
Monitoring performance and managing parameters to provide fast query responses to front-end user.
Weekly reporting based on a system/sub-system bases.
Reporting based on individual disciplines including progress report.
Specifying the format of information required to obtain the information required to populate the ICAPS database.
Preparation, population and coordination of the Pre commissioning & Commissioning ICAPS database with the import files provided by discipline engineers.
Preparing and modifying the required ICAPS Pre-commissioning/Commissioning forms upon Discipline Construction/Pre-commissioning & Commissioning requests approved by COMPANY.
Considering both back-end organisation of data and front-end accessibility for end-users.
Maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act.
Controlling access permissions and privileges.
Working closely with multi-discipline departments ensuring inspection check sheet, test sheet, functionality test sheet and punch list close out are processed in a timely manner.
Ensuring that the CONTRACTOR implements the OPERCOM methodology in a proper, economical, and timely manner.
Shall provide user-based training to CONTRACTOR and COMPANY personal.
Subcontractor shall provide an ICAPS administrator shall satisfy to the following minimum requirements:
Ideally, you will have Hold a HND or B.Sc. degree in Engineering;
Hold ICAPS and OPERCOM methodology user training;
Demonstrate not less than 10 years’ experience in Oil and Gas industry with at least 5 years in a similar position;
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
