**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Must have more than 5 years’ experience in the Petrochemical or Power generation industry.Can read and speak English language (IELTS 6 equivalent).Must be capable of being trained in the COMPANY’s Permit to Work System and to gain a full understanding of it.It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that the signatories understand: o The equipment on which the work is being carried out o The area in which the work is being carried out o The work to be carried out o Who is carrying out the work o The specific tools to be used o Hazards associated with the workVisit the site before preparing MS and JHA to assess the site condition and job requirementsPrepare job specific Method Statement (MS) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) ensuring that all hazards are captured in JHA and adequate controls are identified. For High HSSE risk activities, the MS and JHA must be approved by AE, for medium risk activities MS and JHA must be approved by Shell maintenance/ discipline supervisor.Obtain all required signatures on the PTW documents and submit that to PTW desk in advance.Ensure that all other required documents are attached with PTSW/ Safety Certificate. This includes but is not limited to Standard Control Sheets, Mobile Crane Planning and Risk Assessment, Excavation method statement, etc. Must have a minimum 5 years’ experience in Operations in an oil or gas plant.Must be capable of being trained in the COMPANY’s Permit to Work System and to gain a full understanding of it.Must be fluent in English IELTS Level 5 or equivalent.Must have a detailed working knowledge of the elements of the permit-to-work system that applies to the taskObtain the required PTSW with any enabling certificates and permissions before starting workDemonstrate a full understanding of the hazards and precautions specified on the enabling certificatesDemonstrate a full understanding of the hazards that may be present at the work site and understand the specified controls and precautions.Work closely with the PTSW Issuer and Field Operator (FO)Ensure knowledge of the condition of the equipment being handed over to them to be worked on Ensure every member of their team understands and complies with the requirements of the enabling certificates, i.e. conducts TBT and LMRA with the team and record it.Ensure that in the event of any changes to the work scope to stop work immediately, make the area safe and seek immediate advice the Permit issuing authorityBe able to conduct Last Minute Risk Assessment (LMRA) at the work location with all members of the crew
