Guest Service Officer

**Responsibilities and Obligations**:
- Responsible for a perfect greeting, by ensuring a fast, efficient and professional check-in and escorting to the assigned room, according to the standards and procedures of the Hotel.
- Implement the check-in and check-out procedure.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge to be able to promote different outlets and services offered by the Hotel.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge in order to implement the Hotel’s upselling strategy.
- Ensure a high level of product and area knowledge in order to satisfy all guests requests inside or outside the premises of the Hotel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Implement at all times the related procedures to all guest’s operation (i.e. paid-out, extra services, exchange, posting, billing).
- Implement Hotel’s policy related to the pricing for walk-in or direct reservation, and never exceeds the level of authority given to him.
- Responsible for the cash float given to him while on duty.
- Cooperate with other departments especially Housekeeping and Sales concerning any daily modification in the guest’ initial reservation.
- Ensure that all claims and complaints are reported in the logbook, and transferred immediately to the Manager on duty.
- Maintain at all times excellent personal appearance according to the standards set by the Hotel.
- Ensure full knowledge of all safety and emergency policies and procedures and act accordingly.
- Prepare availability reports, arrival lists and all special requests on a daily basis.
- Report to the Front Office Manager/Supervisorr all new ideas and suggestions that can help to improve the service of the department.
- Make sure that all services offered by the Hotel respond to the guests’ needs and satisfactions according to our standards.
- Never forget that hospitality is our business. Should therefore always be striving for better quality and services in accordance with the Hotel standards.
Adhere at all times to the policies and procedures of the Hotel.
Pay: From QAR2,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
