Executive Chef (French - Continental Cuisine)
**Job Overview**:The Executive Chef leads our culinary team and oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, bringing creativity, innovation, and exceptional culinary expertise to deliver a memorable dining experience for our guests. The role is responsible for menu development, kitchen management, staff training, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
**Key Result Areas**:
- Create and update menus that reflect culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences.
- Develop innovative and unique dishes while ensuring a balance of flavors, textures, and visual appeal.
- Consider dietary restrictions and preferences in menu planning.
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control to optimize kitchen expenses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high levels of skill and professionalism.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor and address customer feedback to continuously improve the dining experience.
- Stay informed about health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance in all kitchen activities.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities for inspections and certifications.
- Work closely with the management team to establish and manage the culinary budget.
- Monitor food costs, waste, and inventory to achieve financial targets.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house staff and event planners, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Work with vendors to source high-quality ingredients and build strong relationships.
**Qualifications**: Strong management skills with proven experience as an Executive Chef, Corporate Chef, or Head Chef from a reputable organization, with background in Culinary Arts or the same study.
