Ticketing Officer

As Ticketing Officer, you will be responsible to lead and motivate the ticketing staff and act as intermediary between the staff and the management. You will plan and supervise the team in order to achieve optimal customer satisfaction and surpass the annual revenue targets.
Accountabilities:
- Handle customers' requirements and/or requests including fare quotes, confirmation professionally and ensure minimum complaints.
- Advise and support Travel Agents with seat confirmation and arrange VIP Bookings/ticketing queries. Support staff and customers to resolve difficult issues/problems pertaining to Reservations & Ticketing on a daily basis.
- Guide and support staff and keep them updated with relevant changes in the industry and QR products/services.
- Assure to arrange for the appropriate decision from the Line Manager.
- Investigate complaints to define and correct weak areas and thereafter, either to provide action of recommendation or escalate to the Line for further action.
- Manage mishandled passengers, no records, and Denied Boarding Passengers as and when required.
- Oversee booking patterns and monitor performance.
- Regular assessment and evaluation of the staffs' performance on a quarterly basis.
- Responsible for on-job day-to-day training/coaching session of new-joiners, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and according to schedule.
- Provide on the job training and coaching to the staff in order to enhance customer service.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Recognized IATA or Airline Advanced Passenger Tariff and Pricing Course
- Knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions
- Able to manage room sales with due regards to the revenue
- Ability to adhere to Management Policy and target sales mix to achieve maximum room revenue ensuring every opportunity to sell is taken
- Knowledge of World Geography
