**Core Activity**:
- Ensure the effective support of the Ground Support System(s) (GSS) by adhering to delivery targets, monitoring progress, and developing performance improvement programmes, including but not limited to:

- Installing and creating Oracle databases
- Performing upgrades of the database and associated software
- Managing database/ network storage structures
- Managing users and system/ database security
- Managing schema objects, such as tables, indexes and GUI views
- Performing and managing database back-ups
- Proactively monitoring the database’s health and taking preventative or corrective action as required.
- Prioritises activities within/across teams to maximise the efficiency of all flight critical GSS systems. Deputise and represent the Group Lead in their absence.
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance, availability, utilisation, throughput, and latency
- Set-up user accounts, roles, authorisations, and permissions
- Responsible for ensuring that the continuing airworthiness activities are carried out in a satisfactory manner, for the assessment of escalated issues for any impact on Continuing Airworthiness and generating effective resolution or sponsoring escalation as appropriate.
- Complying with the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and its associated procedures and standards. Identifying, and implement change as required, whilst ensuring compliance to QAF procedures
- To effectively deliver a knowledge and experience transfer package for the QEAF GSS Administrators:

- Provide mentoring of QEAF personnel, by delivering a bespoke experience consolidation logbook to manage the transfer of Company experience and Intellectual Property in the area of GSS from the Company to the QEAF.
- Ensure GSS team(s) activities are compliant with the Acceptable Means of Compliance to the Basic Regulation.
- Ensure Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits are supported by GSS personnel and integrated within/across teams.
- Manage the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information into the relevant reviews.
- Generate and implement effective improvements within/across teams to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness.

**Key Accountabilities**:
