Located in the heart of Doha Old Town, Kimpton Al Rowda Doha will be the first Kimpton in the Middle East bringing the brand’s playful energy, infectious personality, and unique design style to this charming and vibrant area of town. Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.
**Your day to day**
As Assistant Human Resources Manager, you will report to the Director of People and Culture and you will be responsible for handling the day to day operation of the department, assisting in the implementation of the HR strategies in alignment with the overall hotel strategy, supporting current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital, maintaining pay plans and benefits programs, overseeing the recruitment process within the Hotel, managing recruitment budget and keeping current on present and future recruitment needs.
**What we need from you**
Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related fields. HR certification is a plus - 3 to 5 years in Hotel HR functions, including a minimum of 1 year of AHRM or equivalent team leading roles - Ability to handle high volume of recruitment - Knowledge in operating recruitment portals (i.e., Lumesse or Taleo) - Strong communication skills - Ability to work under pressure - Doha experience is an advantage - Luxury and Lifestyle experience is an advantage - Pre-Opening experience is a plus
