**About the role**

We are recruiting for Flight Dispatch Training and Compliance Manager, to be based in Doha, Qatar.

The Flight Dispatch Training and Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Flight Dispatch and Flight Watch training needs are delivered, documented, maintained and continuously improved in compliance with Qatar Civil Aviation Regulation (QCAR) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards. The role holder will be required to drive continuous improvement within the IOC scope of operation across all sections in alignment with department objectives and regulatory standards.

**Specific responsibilities for the role include**:
**_Strategic_**
- Work in close partnership with IOC and QR compliance teams, processes and the training and development teams to develop a cross functional strategy and reporting process to identify both compliance gaps and pertinent training solutions to address these, ensuring a cohesive approach.

**_Operational_**
- Ensure that appropriate systems are available to measure quality and compliance to an acceptable standard in line with current best practices.
- Ensure that flight dispatch training methods are aligned with best practice in terms of delivery and use of current and developing technology.
- Ensure that the planning and delivery of technical training is executed according to documented training plans.
- Analyze operational data, monitor systems alerts and respond to pilot queries to ensure that all Flight Dispatch and Flight Watch activities are regulatory compliant.
- Ensure that the flight dispatch training program meets the requirements of QR operational needs and regulatory requirements and supports the continuous improvement of Flight Dispatch team.
- Remain abreast of the latest industry trends and developments affecting flight dispatch activities, and develop training and procedures accordingly.
- Identify training needs for staff to ensure that they meet and exceed the requirements of the role.
- Ensure that process changes are captured and reflected in internal training documentation.
- Ensure that the duty managers have the correct level of technical knowledge to ensure that they can identify issues or gaps in this knowledge with their reportees
- Identify non-compliance through all available feedback channels, such as electronic journey logs and internal reporting and provide appropriate mitigation and training plans.
- Propose procedural and process related enhancement to flight dispatch systems and documents where applicable.
- Perform continuous quality checks on completed operational documentation, including handovers/checklists/flight plan output so that operational performance can be enhanced.
- Monitor changes in Flight Ops procedure that require an amendment to existing IOC documentation and manage the update of associated documentation and publication of operational notices accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver induction training for new joiners for smooth induction into the team with well-rounded awareness of the company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and deliver flight dispatch refresher training for current dispatchers to maintain QR standards.
- Ensure to review and update the Flight Dispatch Refresher training modules based on the latest information so that the training imparted to the Flight Dispatcher is current.
- Ensure staff comply with professional qualifications and certification as per regulatory compliance in liaison with QR regulatory affairs.
- Prepare, monitor and maintain the IOC and Flight Dispatch Documentation ensuring the quality and standards are maintained and available at all times.
- Maintain and update all regulatory required licensing and training records of Flight Dispatch staff within IOC to comply with the regulatory requirements (internal/ external).
- Support the Flight Dispatch Training audit with all information required by the internal/ external auditors.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 7 years of job-related experience.
