The role is responsible for leading, directing, managing, taking accountability and ownership for the decisions made within IOC on a shift basis.

The role also acts as: a team lead in IOC, technical expert to provide tactical guidance to all stakeholders in IOC and set priorities on commercial and operational needs. Ensure the schedule integrity is maintained to maximize aircraft and crew utilization, flights are safely and efficiently planned and in compliance regulatory requirements. Alert and recommend course of action to Manager IOC on safety contingencies, emergencies, operational, commercial and scheduling impacts.

Other key responsibilities are:

- Support the charter sales department to ensure swift response from all stakeholders in IOC to protect revenue generation
- Ensure the interests of the business in terms of operational (disruption schedule recovery) and commercial (loss of revenue) impacts are protected as a team lead in the IOC
- Ensure QE leadership is pro-actively informed and kept up to date on all significant disruptions and safety events
- Co-ordinate with charter sales with all restrictions protecting the commercial and operational interests as a team lead in IOC
- Responsible for managing daily operations of QE Flights and be a focal point of contact for all operational disruptions
- Act as a technical expert to provide guidance to all stakeholders in IOC to limit operational impact and delays (e.g. airspace closure AOGs, Crew flight time limitations curfew, weather and political issues)
- As a point of escalation for operational matters that are not solved by stakeholders within IOC, escalate and manage all challenges which may present a risk to operational stability to the IOC Management
- Responsible for operational decision within IOC to ensure -e schedule impact due to disruption is effectively managed, through the operation maintain contact with handling agent to check for all possibilities affecting the flight proactively monitor flight rotations and reschedule rotation to protect commercial interests, aircraft defect are monitored affecting the schedule.
- Ensure the operational system is maintained up to date with all services and information related to the flights Ensure all operational systems. flight planning system, route study and performance calculation tools are up to date.
- Work with the business continuity team to ensure readiness in case of any unplanned system outages or issues directly impacting the IOC.
- Ensure all services (handling, landing permits, overfly permits etc.) for the flights are intact and escalate to IOC Management if necessary such as pending permits or operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with Operations manual, IOC manual, FDM & FDTM, SOPs, OPNs, Checklists introduced within IOC
- Participate in all audits but not limited to flight dispatch audit and IOC compliance audit
- Ensure all the mandatory training for all IOC personnel and their training records are maintained as per regulatory requirements.
- Establish the department or teams’ objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives, regularly evaluate the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures and practices and makes appropriate changes if needed.

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional with:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role within Worldwide operations
- Possession of Flight Dispatch License / Certificate or equivalent issued by a Regulatory Authority or approved institution.
- Experience working for a Business Aviation Operator is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of EDTOs NAT HLA, PACOTS and AUSOTS operations
- Knowledge of EASA Air Operations Regulations
- Prior knowledge of dispatching Airbus / Boeing or Business Jet aircraft
