About your Job:
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, design architecture, and management of Qatar Airways Network infrastructure requirements, such as new services, Disaster Recovery, automations tools and software defined network, SD-WAN, SD-Access, Cloud Networking and so on. You will be responsible for the technical administration of Qatar Airways’ network solution, including problem detection, resolution, end user support and life-cycle management of the installed solutions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, design and implement network and security solutions in high availability environment.
- Experience in designing, deploying & supporting Networking or Data Centre solutions (ideally from Cisco)
- Good Understanding of networking protocols and technologies (STP, VLANs, EtherChannel, vPC, QoS, etc.)
- Good understanding of Data Centre Network architectures that includes VDC and Core layered etc.
- Expertise in configuring and Managing the Firewalls and network security Appliances.
- Good understanding of Azure networking, NSG, VNEt’s, NVA’s, etc.
- Good Understanding of Next Generation Firewalls (NGF) like Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD & FortiGate.
- Expertise in routing protocols with Hands on experience working on OSPF and BGP
- Expertise in Managing and configuring MPLS and MPLS-VPN’s, VRF’s, BGP community, etc.
- Experience of working on large-scale enterprise projects
- Hands-on experience using Cisco Nexus and Catalyst devices
- Experience with VXLAN, EPG and service contracts
- Hands
- on experience on Cisco ACI along with VXLAN, EPG and Service contract
- Hands on experience on Aruba & Cisco Wireless controller and access points
- Knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity planning
- Knowledge of virtualization, containers
- Work with telecom service provider in terms of design and integration of Cloud services
- 24x7 based L3 Technical & functional support, including incident handling, request management, customer queries and problem management.
- Maintain a highly secure system through proper system configuration and monitoring.
- Automation of various tasks for the better management and availability of the systems.
- Ensure to maintain patch level, data backup, Disaster Recovery procedures for Network Appliances.
- Perform Capacity Management with continuous monitoring to plan Hardware and Software upgrades.
- Life Cycle management of the system, including timely hardware and software upgrade and replacement.
- Maintaining technical documentation including SOP, Administration and configuration documents.
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of BOQ, procurement, RFP, RFI, solution proposal, etc.

Qualifications

About You:
You must have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences or an equivalent certification, as well as a minimum of 15 years of IT experience, including at least the last seven years in design, development, and implementation of network infrastructure projects. We are looking for a mature and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities who is willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere of 24x7 IT support.

Qualifications/ Trainings:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences or equivalent qualification
- CCIE Routing and Switching (Enterprise Infrastructure) is must
- Other equivalent industry recognized certifications are desirable
