- Production Supervisor The operation supervisor is responsible for overseeing and leading the execution of the each job plan and analysing the pros and cons of each project and providing alternatives and cost effective solutions, taking into consideration the production plan as per the customer /client requirements with no compromise to quality. Supervision, Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Production Planning, Strategic Planning, Dealing with Complexity, Financial Planning and Strategy,Time Served in an Engineering Industry with Minimum 10 years of experience, he should have Mechanical engineering minimum Diploma /Bachelor of Engineering.Previous Product experience for either an OEM or sub-contractor of, in an Engineering environment on the shop floor, working directly with customer products in subsea and surface sectors required.Must have Adequate knowledge in processes/ procedures / general manufacturing / machine shop repair /quality requirements/ welding and general manufacturing operations.Intermediate computer skills required in MRP and Microsoft office software systems.Solid leadership and technical management skills to include: employee relations and team building.Previous supervisory experience in an engineering manufacturing environment is highly preferable.Medically fit & energetic.Must have excellent English communication skills to clearly communicate between team and customer for any queries, questions, delivery, progress, job scope, change order etc. Must be a strict disciplinarian, and will not shy away from implementing disciplinary procedure when required. Must have a working knowledge of a repair & manufacturing workshopAccomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures to achieve customer expectation.Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; suggesting repair solutions for customer review and approval; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; contributes by evaluating new equipment and techniques.Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.Creates and revises systems and procedures by analysing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.Resolves personnel problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Manage workloads and prioritise resources to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the company standards and client’s expectation and in compliance with all HSE policies, practices and procedures.Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices/ procedures / productivity / quality and HSE and assist in the selection, induction, training, performance management and personnel development of staff.**Knowledge & Qualification**:
