The primary responsibilities of the **Payroll Analyst**

**Job Summary**:
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing payroll, preparing payroll reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and resolving any payroll issues.

**Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Follow all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is conducted in a controlled and consistent manner.

**Functional Responsibilities**:

- Process and administer payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with payroll policies, laws, and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to employee attendance, hours worked, and paid time off.
- Coordinate with relevant departments, such as Human Capital and finance, to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll-related data and payments.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing explanations, guidance, and support on payroll-related policies, deductions, and any withholdings.
- Collaborate with external vendors, such as payroll service providers and other authorities, to ensure compliance with regulations, government reporting requirements, and timely submission of payroll-related documents.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

**Academic & Professional Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or equivalent.

**Experience**:

- 5-8 years of experience in Payroll or a similar field.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Proficiency in payroll processing and systems.
- Attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
- Advanced excel skills / financial analysis.
- Ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and resolve payroll-related issues.
