About the role

Reporting to the Vice President Corporate Insurance, you will be responsible for the management of non-claims related aspects of QR Group's Non-Aviation Insurance policies. You will also be responsible for the design of insurance programs across the QR Group, in order to safeguard QR Group assets and interests and achieve the best combination of protection and cost effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Design insurance programs to meet QR Group requirements in line with corporate risk appetite and risk transfer strategy.
- Design and create new SOPs for the non-aviation insurance programs in order to maximize compliance for the benefit of the business
- Design and implement insurance programs that ensure QR Group optimizes its size and remains compliant with legal requirements.
- Ensure insurance policies are procured in accordance with Group insurance purchasing strategy and guiding principles as set out by the Vice President of Corporate Insurance.
- Collaborate effectively with Group Insurance Claims Manager and Group Insurance Operations Manager to ensure an integrated approach to our proposition to insurance market and service delivery to the group.
- Achieve savings on the Group's annual insurance premium spend through the analysis of claim deductible levels and making data driven programs design decisions.
- Provide specialist knowledge and expertise to managers and other group stakeholders on all aspects of insurance coverage.
- Train the Group Insurance team on efficient and optimal management of a global insurance program.

**Qualifications**:
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 9 years of experience in non-aviation corporate insurance field.
- Experience in managing Global Insurance Programs.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of all non-aviation classes of insurance at a mid-senior level either within a broking environment or 'in-house'.
- Advance knowledge of purchasing principles, practices, methods and procedures used in competitive procurement.
- Ability to work within tight timeframes and balance competing stakeholder demands and expectations.
- Diploma in Insurance or equivalent is preferred.
