**Role Objective**:
To ensure that the network elements and their security in the organization are performing at the highest level, at the same time serve as a single point of contact for requirement gathering and evaluation of the systems.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain the systems that allow organizations to function and communicate, both internally and externally
- Maintain network environment for both companies
- Identify and collect the requirements for the network improvements
- Install, upgrade and troubleshoot company and company network and systems
- Monitor network performance a propose actions to improve or fine-tune it
- Ensure the security of the company IT environment by implementing required controls
- Manage Firewall/ WAF /SIEM and other IT security devices.
- Perform other duties assigned by the direct supervisor to ensure that the flow of work is continuous and adequate relief is provided
- General Responsibilities in Quality, Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
- Aware of the QHSE Management System.
- Understand the importance of conformance to the QHSE Policy and procedures and the requirements of the QHSE management system.
- Aware of the Customer Requirements (where relevant).
- Aware of the Significant Environmental Aspects and Occupational Hazards/risk in this area of operation.
- Aware of potential or actual consequences of his/her work activities and deviation from specified Operating Procedures.
- Aware of current Objectives and Targets in this area and what is the current status.
- Aware of Emergency Preparedness & Response.
- Aware of Security Requirements, sexual exploitation and abuse or gender based violence.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Masters Degree in CS with 7 + years of experience.
- CCNP Certification is essential with advanced understanding of metro networks: WAN, LAN.
- CISSP/CISM/CEH and PMP certifications are an advantage
- Must have good experience on MPLS Technologies - L3 MPLS VPNS, VRF’s and IDS, IPS. CDP, Frame-relay, PPP, Access Control List (ACL)

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing a large scale, multi-platform, primary and backup data center environment including Cisco and Juniper Networking Systems, Firewall, Anti-Virus, Remote access
- Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Switches, routers and firewalls. Experience network design and implementation.
- Experience in IT Project Management and knowledge of Project Management Methodologies, tools & techniques.
- Experience in VMWare, Linux will be an advantage

- IT services management, service level agreements, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and best practices in IT services management, infrastructure management and IT security.
- Disaster recovery, business continuity and backup planning.
- Knowledge of and experience with design architecture and implementing highly secure, multi-tier and distributed systems architectures.
- Industry standard certifications processes.
- Must be experienced on Cisco Routers and Switches, and other Layer 3 Switches, switching protocols, technologies, cables, racks, TCP/IP IPv4 and IPv6, DNS.
- Knowledge in Next Generation Firewalls, WAF, Load Balancer, SIEM, VPN Technologies are required
- Additional security certifications will an advantage
- Good communication skills in English both written and oral with experience in documentation.

**Salary**: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
