About this role

This is an exciting opportunity in the Commercial division of Qatar Airways Group to grow Leisure Travel as a strategic priority. This role will drive collaboration across the Airline and the rest of the Group to achieve commercial objectives across a global market.

Strategic Accountabilities
- As part of the Global Sales team, you will define leisure travel objectives to provide direction to leisure sales teams and the global sales force for increasing channel contribution.
- You will develop and implement customer strategies for various leisure travel customer segments and business partners to drive performance and maximize revenue contribution.
- You will also prepare the team for future trends and ensure the right structure and standards/processes are in place to facilitate the growth of leisure channels and segments.
- Promote continual strategic improvement and drive a culture of innovation and excellence.

Operational Accountabilities
- You will be accountable for establishing leisure travel objectives and translating them into KPIs and ensuring performance on a global scale.
- You will partner with various stakeholder in a matrix organization to identify opportunities to maximise sales across various regions and also to leverage their expertise to improve performance.
- Close collaboration with HQ and regional teams will be critical in this role to develop key accounts.
- A key part of this role, will also be to collaborate with product development team to develop new products.
- You will also be a key stakeholder in the promotion of ‘Destination Qatar’ through this role.

**Qualifications**:
About You
- We are looking for a commercial leader with particular focus on leisure travel in a global market.
- Solid experience in key account management, product development and travel segment growth will be critical to your success.
- Proven ability to build a high-performing sales team with strong capabilities is essential to be an effective leader at Qatar Airways Group.
- Airline Experience is preferred.

**Qualifications**:

- Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Also possess good analytical, interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder management skills in a matrix organization.
