**What we want**

The Research Associate will perform experiments, modeling, teamwork, and publishing results related to Machine Learning Approach for Single Phase and Multiphase Flow Leak Detection and Monitoring in Onshore/Offshore Pipelines and Subsurface Sequestration Sites project.

**Salary**:Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Appropriate bachelors degree.
- Two years of related professional experience.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

**Essential Duties/Tasks**:

- **Lab and Research Duties**:

- Perform experiments in the lab to gather multiphase flow data in annuli and pipe for both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid, slurry flow, two-phase flow, rheology, and surface tension measurement, leak detection, and calibration of the instruments. Proficient in advanced measurement techniques, technical services, troubleshooting, DAQ, particle image velocimetry (PIV), differential pressure measurement, dynamic pressure measurement, high-speed flow visualization, and electrical resistance tomography (ERT), and other advanced measurement techniques. Flow loop upgrade. Exercise safety and standards in the lab. Involved in procurement of supplies. Scholarly activities such as literature review and proposal writing. Workshop/conference organization. Matlab image processing. Collaborate extensively with the Texas A&M University, Qatar campus.
- **Experimental Work - **CFD simulation using ANSYS Fluent/CFX and Olga.
- **Write - **Monthly report/progress report. Write technical papers to present the results of this work for journals/conferences.
- **Data Analysis - **Data analytics (AI/ML)
