Our client is a leading Qatari Holding Group, established for 55 years, with diversified global business interests within the Trading & Contracting, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Hospitality, Industrial & Manufacturing, Acquisition & Investment, and Financial Services sectors. The Holding Group was introduced to enable business growth and to strength corporate governance and bring the group to a world standard. Our client now seeks to recruit a dynamic Chief Executive Officer with exceptional leadership abilities to:

- Act as the Managing Director - Corporate Operations and be the core link between all vertical divisions of the group, its subsidiaries and related companies.
- Lead the development, evaluation and execution of the Group’s Business Strategy to increase shareholder value including Vision, Mission and Strategic Planning.
- Ensure Corporate Governance, organisational performance evaluation and legal compliance meets regulatory and board requirements.
- Lead a high performing C Suite executive team to drive and deliver Corporate Strategy and build the long-term strategies with the goal to increase shareholder value.

**Reporting to the Board of Directors and managing 6 direct reports and 45 indirect reports, this role is responsible for the following**:
Business Strategy, Vision, Mission and Planning:

- Lead the development and implementation of the overall company’s strategy and create, communicate and implement the company’s vision, mission and overall direction.
- Ensure strategic goals are measurable, documented and realistic.
- Formulate and implement the strategic plan to guide business direction and ensure implementation ownership by the executive team.

Governance:

- Assist the Board of Directors to articulate the Board and Committees of their roles and long-term strategy and accountabilities and regularly evaluate performance.
- Work with the Board Chair/Vice-Chair to enable the Board to fulfil its governance obligations and facilitate optimum performance by all stakeholders.
- Manage the Board’s Due Diligence process to ensure timely attention to core issues.
- Work with Board Officers and Committee Chairs for guidance, feedback and advice.
- Create, communicate and implement operational, financial and administrative policies and procedures.
- Ensure Compliance with Board-approved policies and procedures and that effective controls are in place to maintain a controlled business environment.

Communication and Representation:

- Liaison with shareholders, government entities and the public.
- Represent the company publicly including attendance at functions, industry events and public meetings.
- Participate in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the CEO's leadership skills, the company’s reputation and the company’s potential for success.

Management and Administration:

- Direct the company in line with the vision outlined by the Board of Directors and oversee the daily operations of the company to meet strategic plans.
- Develop a work environment that ensure staff attraction and retention, is a learning environment and evaluation of performance management.
- Lead, guide, direct, performance manage and evaluate all executive leaders including chiefs, directors and managers.
- Work closely with the COO (Chief Operating Officer), CFO (Chief Financial Officer), and CRO (Chief Risk Officer) to prepare annual budgets, complete risk analysis on potential investments and advise the Board of Directors regarding investment risk and return.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.
- Identify, evaluate and measure potential acquisitions or mergers under circumstances that will enhance shareholder value.
- Assess risks to the company and ensure they are monitored and minimized.
- that will continue to grow and flourish and enhance the skills and abilities of employees.

Legal Compliance:

- Assure the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitor compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Evaluation and Quality Control:

- Evaluate of company performance to meet organisational goals ensuring KPIs / are measured.
- Oversee quality control across the company, establishing goals for each division in partnership with the executive team.

**The attributes we seek for this role comprise**:

- 15+ years of executive corporate management and leadership experience is required with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar CEO position.
- The strong leader we seek will possess advanced problem-solving skills, organisational capabilities and have demonstrated experience in the integration and coordination of diverse areas of management.
- Excellent bilingual language skills (English/Arabic) are essential.
