**Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management**:

- **Staff Supervision & Training**: Hire, train, and manage a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Ensure that all staff are knowledgeable about seafood preparation, service standards, and health and safety protocols.
- **Schedule Management**: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure proper staffing levels during peak and off-peak times. Ensure optimal labor costs.
- **Quality Control**: Oversee food quality, including freshness and presentation of seafood dishes. Ensure all menu items are prepared and served to the highest standard.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage inventory for seafood, kitchen supplies, and restaurant needs. Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of seafood to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, particularly regarding the safe handling and preparation of seafood.

**2. Customer Experience & Service**:

- **Guest Interaction**: Actively engage with customers to ensure a positive dining experience. Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
- **Menu Knowledge**: Have in-depth knowledge of the menu, including seasonal seafood offerings, preparation techniques, and wine pairings. Make recommendations to customers as needed.
- **Reservation & Seating Management**: Oversee reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists to ensure efficient seating and timely service.
- **Upselling & Promotion**: Promote daily specials, high-margin items, and beverages (such as wine or cocktails) to guests to maximize revenue.

**3. Financial Management**:

- **Budgeting & Cost Control**: Monitor food costs, labor expenses, and other operational costs to maintain budget targets. Minimize waste and spoilage of seafood and other perishables.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. Track sales and identify areas for improvement.
- **Pricing Strategy**: Work with ownership and the culinary team to adjust pricing strategies based on food costs, market trends, and profitability.

**4. Supplier & Vendor Relations**:

- **Seafood Suppliers**: Build and maintain relationships with trusted seafood vendors. Ensure that seafood is sourced sustainably, ethically, and is of the highest quality.
- **Inventory Procurement**: Manage orders and inventory for all restaurant needs, ensuring that all ingredients, especially seafood, are always stocked in proper quantities.

**5. Marketing & Community Engagement**:

- **Brand Ambassador**: Represent the restaurant and its unique seafood offerings in the community. Build and maintain the restaurant’s reputation for quality and exceptional service.
- **Social Media & Promotions**: Develop and implement strategies to promote the restaurant online, including through social media platforms, to attract new customers and increase customer loyalty.
- **Events & Special Promotions**: Plan and organize seafood-focused events, promotions, or seasonal specials to boost traffic and engagement.

**6. Crisis Management**:

- **Problem Resolution**: Address any operational or customer service issues promptly. Handle staff concerns, customer complaints, and any unexpected challenges efficiently.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a **restaurant management** role, with a focus on **seafood cuisine** preferred.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, maintain high standards of service, and work effectively under pressure.
- **Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of **seafood** (types, preparation, sourcing, sustainability) and **food safety regulations**.
- **Customer Service**: Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on delivering a high-quality dining experience.
- **Financial Acumen**: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial performance metrics in a restaurant environment.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to engage with customers, vendors, and staff effectively.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to think on your feet and resolve operational issues efficiently.
