**Job Title**: Head Chef - Continental Breakfast Specialist

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef specializing in Continental Breakfast to join our culinary team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations of our breakfast kitchen. Your expertise in creating exceptional continental breakfast menus and your ability to lead a team will ensure that our guests enjoy a memorable and satisfying breakfast experience. This role requires a creative approach, attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute creative and diverse continental breakfast menus, considering both classic and innovative dishes that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that recipes, portion sizes, and presentation are consistently maintained at the highest level of quality.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they perform their duties effectively and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to maintain inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage food costs while ensuring freshness and quality.
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring that it is properly maintained, cleaned, and in good working condition.
- Implement and enforce strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food items.
- Stay updated with current industry trends and incorporate new techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles to continually enhance the breakfast offerings.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as dining services, to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular food tasting sessions and seek feedback from guests to assess their preferences and make necessary adjustments to the menu.
- Stay informed about special dietary needs and restrictions, accommodating guests' requests and preferences accordingly.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of special events and functions as required.
- Monitor and control food costs, wastage, and portion control to optimize efficiency and profitability.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role, with a focus on continental breakfast cuisine.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in creating and executing diverse continental breakfast menus.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- In-depth understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Proficient in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative approach to developing new recipes and adapting to guest preferences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with kitchen staff, management, and guests.
- Attention to detail, ensuring consistency and accuracy in food preparation and presentation.
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
