Background
Ooredoo Group’s Wholesale Voice, Roaming & messaging functions are critical in ensuring seamless customer experience for Ooredoo’s retail customers by providing access to international partners to deliver best quality, optimum cost, efficiency and standardisation in international wholesale services for Ooredoo Group OpCos

This role has end-to-end responsibility on leading the international wholesale voice, roaming and messaging businesses globally for Ooredoo Group, with focus on alignment and integration of the international voice, roaming and messaging businesses for Ooredoo Group/OpCos, leveraging its scale and reach.

Role & Responsibilities
- Designs and develops the International wholesale voice, roaming and messaging businesses strategy and Scorecard including identification of measures, objectives, vision, innovation and operations
- Formulates annual operational plans and budgets for own area and ensures its effective execution after approval; owns and oversees division P&L
- Leads engagement with all Ooredoo Group’s wholesale voice, roaming and messaging businesses partners globally to ensure revenue enhancement and cost optimization through commercial alliances and deals, while building a long term mutually beneficial relationship with customers/partners
- Manages the performance of the Business Unit through periodic monitoring of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and financial performance of the international wholesale services, identification of the performance gaps through constant monitoring and tracking of performance and recommendation for corrective actions
- Overview the work of voice, roaming and messaging businesses heads in their engagement with retail teams (consumer and enterprise) in OpCos and Group along with cross-functional teams from Technology, Finance, Strategy & Marketing to build joint go-to-market strategies/products/initiatives /promotions to improve customer experience (QoS) and revenue/cost positions for OpCos/Group
- Constantly develop own knowledge of the regulatory frameworks within the country and within the region to identify opportunities for Group and OpCos
- Overview Global Head of Voice in managing the routing of international traffic through the selection of quality combined with most cost-effective termination rates
- Overview Global Head of Roaming in managing the steering of roaming through careful selection of the highest quality (QoS) route combined with most cost-effective termination rates
- Overview the coordination among the national account managers and the head of Voice and Roaming to drive efficiency and streamlined work
- Monitoring and interpreting all trends in the industry including wholesale product portfolio review.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures within the function in line with changing industry requirements to keep Ooredoo aligned with changing market requirements
- Study reports on the commercial aspects of roaming / mobile services provider /messaging
- Participate in the development and management of new wholesale products to enhance the customer satisfaction and revenue streams
- Drive the identification of new potential wholesale businesses opportunities
- Drive the identification of new partners / services in alignment with the overall strategy for Wholesale and implement those plans with Opco’s.
- Analyse reports on progress of each wholesale products, which clearly demonstrate key activities, changes to markets and progress against key performance indicators

Qualifications**
Experience**
- 12 years in a similar role within an International Department of a major telecommunication company

**Minimum Entry Qualifications**
- University degree, Master’ preferred
