Background
Ooredoo Group’s Wholesale Roaming, wholesale and mobility function is critical in ensuring seamless customer experience for Ooredoo’s retail and business customers by providing access to international partners to deliver best quality, optimum cost, efficiency and standardisation in roaming services to and from Ooredoo Group OpCos

This role is responsible for leading international roaming business globally for Ooredoo Group, with focus on alignment and integration of the roaming, wholesale and mobility business for Ooredoo Group/OpCos leveraging its scale and reach.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manages the performance of the Business Unit through periodic monitoring of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and quality and financial performance of the international services, identification of the performance gaps through constant monitoring and tracking of performance and recommendation for corrective actions
- Manages the steering of roaming through careful selection of the highest quality (QoS) route combined with most cost-effective termination rates while ensuring dynamism in the routing by keeping alert on the latest change in the market
- Works closely with retail teams (consumer and enterprise) in OpCos and Group along with cross-functional teams from Technology, Finance, Strategy & Marketing to build joint go-to-market strategies/products/initiatives/promotions to improve customer experience (QoS) and revenue/cost positions for OpCos/Group
- Coordinates among the national account managers to drive operational and financial efficiency with roaming partner engagement
- Collaborate with Technology Business Unit for any operational issues and challenges affecting the new and existing roaming services with specific focus on growing Commercial Wholesale offer.
- Constantly develop own knowledge of the regulatory frameworks within the country and within the region to identify opportunities for Group and OpCos
- Support Senior Director Voice & Roaming by monitoring and interpreting all trends that occur in the industry via participation in relevant GSMA working groups.
- Evaluate market size, competitor accomplishments and industry structures and make recommendations to management in the development of the company’s goals
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures in line with changing industry requirements
- Monitor the commercial aspects of roaming / mobile services provider to ensure maximum coverage at optimum costs
- Participate and provide inputs in the development and management of new roaming products to enhance the customer satisfaction and revenue stream
- Drive the identification of new potential businesses and roaming opportunities through evaluation of market segments, technology trends, competitive landscape and market dynamics
- Plan and forecast new partners / services in alignment with the overall strategy for Wholesale and implement those plans to
- Provide frequent reports on progress of each roaming product to Senior Director Roaming, which clearly demonstrate key activities, changes to markets and progress against key performance indicators
- Provide inputs and execute roaming studies and business cases for new projects / products to cope with the latest technical & market trends

Qualifications**
Experience**
- 10+ years in a similar role within global/regional telco with exposure and relationships with international carriers

**Minimum Entry Qualifications**
- University degree, Master’ preferred
