**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Network Administration**:
- Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network efficiency.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- **System Administration**:
- Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure security and stability.
- **Hardware and Software Maintenance**:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
- **User Support**:
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software-related inquiries.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new workstations.
- Create and maintain documentation for common troubleshooting procedures.
- **Security Management**:
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Monitor for security breaches, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- **Backup and Disaster Recovery**:
- Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- **IT Infrastructure Planning**:
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance organizational efficiency.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Interact with external vendors to procure IT equipment and services.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and make recommendations for hardware and software purchases.
- **Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
- Create and update user manuals and training materials.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT administration or a related role.
- Proficiency in networking protocols, server administration, and system troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Certifications such as, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
**Work Environment**:
- The position may require occasional after-hours or weekend work to address critical issues or perform system maintenance.
- Collaboration with other IT professionals and departments within the organization is essential.
**Salary**: Up to QAR5,000.00 per month
